Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to me. I won't share any of your details with anyone else unless you give the ok. Read below for more detail about my privacy policies.

Information Privacy

Any information you provide to me at Of Light and Lens Photography will only be used by me for the purpose for which you provided the information. This information will not be shared with third parties except in the case where necessary to provide part of my service, and only with your prior consent. Examples of third parties I may request to pass your details on to may include hair and make up artists or location managers if your photo session has special requirements.

The "Client" area of my website, used for sharing online galleries and taking online orders, uses Cookies to improve user experience. You can find more details about the specific information held in this specific policy.

You will only be added to my email subscribers list for newsletters and notice of special offers if you opt-in. You may opt-out at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in the email, or by contacting me with a request to unsubscribe.

Photo Privacy

Don't want me sharing your images on social media? That's ok. I won't try to pressure you to give your consent.

While I will almost always ask you to sign a model release allowing me to use images from your photo session to promote my photography business (which includes but is not limited to social media, my website, email newsletters, professional competition entry, printed flyers and printed product samples), if you're a private kind of person it's perfectly ok with me if you say no.

The one time where I do make signing a model release a condition of my carrying out a photo shoot is if the photo shoot is a portfolio building session. And that's because those photo sessions are specifically for me to generate photos I can freely use for promoting my photography business.
